Merger of Kingfisher Berkley & Modality Darlaston Practices
Why are Kingfisher Berkley and Modality Darlaston merging?
Both practices have been facing challenges such as GP retirements, staff recruitment difficulties, and increasing demand for services. By merging, we aim to create a stronger, more sustainable practice that can continue to provide high-quality care.
What are the benefits of the merger for patients?
- Better access to a wider team of healthcare professionals
- More flexibility in seeing your preferred GP or nurse
- Improved access to specialist services (e.g. pharmacists, physiotherapists)
- Consistent, high-quality services across both locations
- Improved phone and online access
- More opportunities for patient feedback and involvement
Will both sites remain open?
Yes. Services will continue to be delivered across both Kingfisher Berkley and Modality Darlaston, with no reduction in care or access.
Do I need to do anything?
No action is required from you. You can continue to use services as normal.
